MP proposes to boost control over pricing of food and medicines

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Parkhat Tulendybayev asked the State Anti-Monopoly Agency to strengthen control over the pricing of goods and medicines on April 15 during a parliamentary session. Deputy Prime Minister Erkin Asrandiyev said that the State Anti-Monopoly Agency works daily on controlling the pricing for vital food items.
"We control the pricing, the maximum prices for the important food items are set," he said.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused great damage not only to the Kyrgyz, but also to the world economy, he added.
"We must support those affected by this pandemic," he said.
