AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Kazakhstan are involved in the case of girls saved from sexual slavery in Bahrain, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Aibek Smadiyarov said, Liter.kz reported.
According to him, 21 Kazakhstani citizens were freed from sexual slavery in Bahrain more than a week ago.
Now these girls are in Kazakhstan, he said.
Investigation is underway on this case, Smadiyarov noted.
"I can not cover the details, as the case involves not only citizens of other countries, but also those of Kazakhstan. It was a big organized group, which was engaged in this work," he said.
On February 11, it was reported that 21 citizens of Kazakhstan were freed from sexual slavery. The girls were invited to Bahrain for works allegedly in the hotels.
