Man infects family member with COVID-19 after return from Russia

AKIPRESS.COM - The commandant's office for Osh, Nookat and Kara-Suu districts confirmed that a criminal probe was launched against the man, who arrived from Russia, and concealed he had coronavirus, commandant Malik Nurdinov told the online briefing today. The commandant said the criminal probe was launched for violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules.
"We will not name this person. He retuned from Russia in April. We warned several times about legal consequences of concealment of the infection. The man did not undergo medical examination after arrival. He contacted his relatives. The fact that he concealed the infection was established. He infected his family member. 10 family members were taken to the observation point. We will continue the check to locate all the man contacted," the commandant stated.
Malik Nurdinov said 3 criminal probes were launched into concealment of COVID-19 since March 25.
