Those who contacted with infected patients placed under two-week observation – Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The citizens who contacted with coronavirus infected patients are placed under two-week observation, said the Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev at the briefing today.
There are algorithms for working with citizens aariving from abroad, as well as with those who contacted with coronavirus patients, he noted.
"They will stay under observation until the results are ready and in case of negative results they are sent to home quarantine. Today, citizens in home quarantine are under control, their location is determined due to mobile app and doctors visit them within 14 days," said Usenbayev.
The citizens who contacted with the infected are the placed under observation for 14 days, later they sent to home quarantine, where they will be monitored by doctors.
"In total, contact persons are checked by doctors for 28 days," said Usenbayev.
