Medical institutions purchase personal protective equipment for 188 million soms: Compulsory Insurance Fund

AKIPRESS.COM - The healthcare organizations purchased personal protective equipment for 188 million soms instead of other expenses, including medicine provision as of April 27, said the head of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund Elnura Boronbayeva.
Boronbayeva briefed on amount of funds spent for purchase of personal protective equipment, including:
- Osh region purchased equipment for 46 million soms;
- Jalal-Abad region for 63 million soms;
- Batken region for 6.2 million soms;
- Naryn region for 13 million soms;
- Talas region for 3.5 million soms;
- Chui region for 12.9 million soms;
- Issyk-Kul region for 8.1 million soms;
- Bishkek city for 35.2 million soms.
According to her, the healthcare institions of the Health Ministry have 46,523 disposable individual protective gears, 20,797 non-disposable protective gears, 58,475 respirators and 1.1 million face masks.
Some 231,000 protective gears are required for 1 month and other 184 disposable protective gears, 180,000 respirators need to be purchased, currently there are enough face masks, said Boronbayeva.
