Parliament of Kyrgyzstan tasks General Prosecutor's Office to probe mass contraction of COVID-19 by medical workers

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Prosecutor's Office has been tasked to investigate the facts of pressure on medical workers by law enforcement agencies and mass contraction of coronavirus infection by medical workers.
The respective resolution of the Parliament was passed on April 15.
The General Prosecutor's Office will evaluate actions of officials from perspective of compliance with effective regulations.
Procuratorial authorities are requested to take actions to stop persecution for spread of information about real situation with fight against coronavirus infection.
Up to date, 185 medical workers caught coronavirus infection in the country.
