Lawmaker urges to accelerate construction of waste processing plant in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The planted trees could not save the city if the waste processing plant will not be build as soon as possible, said MP Muhtarbek Ainakulov at the parliament committee meeting on March 2.
Lawmaker wondered why the plant is being build for 5 years. None of the received projects were considered. The condition of the landfill site is awful, he said.
According to the Bishkek vice-mayor Mirlan Amanturov, the works were conducted for 6 million euros. "We would invite you for inspection, but the condition of the landfill site is not good," vice-mayor replied.
