AKIPRESS.COM - Domestic violence against women and children has grown during quarantine. The affected women and children were taken to the National Oncology Center, Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova told a press conference today.
The government agencies and local authorities are monitoring the situation, she siad.
"We held talks with the non-governmental organizations working with children and women. This problem will not remain without our attention. This is as much our priority as the fight against coronavirus. We will make all possible efforts to prevent violence," Ismailova promised.
