Police forces fulfilled their task in full, President Jeenbekov says about dispersal of March 2 protest

AKIPRESS.COM - "Police forces fulfilled their task in full yesterday. They protected the right of citizens to peaceful life and ensured public order in the capital," President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the meeting of the Security Council today.
"As head of state I repeat one more time, peace in the country is above all. All issues will be addressed according to the law. The language of ultimatums will not be accepted. The law should be observed in the country," President Jeenbekov said.
The President said the executive agencies should strengthen economic security of the country and should ensure a peaceful life for citizens. The main demand for police is protection of public order and law, the President said.
