More than 200 events planned as part of Kyrgyzstan-Russia cross year

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 200 events will be held in the framework of the cross year of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko told a press conference on March 4.
According to him, preparation of the program of joint events of the two countries is about to end.
The geography of the cross year will cover not only capitals of the two countries, but also Russia's St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and all regions of Kyrgyzstan, including in Issyk-Kul, the diplomat said.
The St. Petersburg days are expected be held in Bishkek.
The heads of governments will participate in the closing ceremony in Bishkek in November.
Udovichenko noted this is the first ever cross year between the two countries among CIS countries.
