MP suggests broader use of cashless settlements amid coronavirus outbreak

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Dastan Bekeshev suggested the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan to consider broader use of cashless settlements amid coronavirus outbreak in the world.
People would contact each other less in that case, he said.
Chairman of the National Bank Toklkunbek Abdygulov said the infrastructure has already been readied, but still many settlements occur using cash in the bazaars.
The parliament is considering the draft amendments to the laws of Kyrgyzstan on the National Bank and banking activities proposing use of innovations in the field in second reading.
