AKIPRESS.COM - Many citizens decided they may freely move across the city, Bishkek commandant Almaz Orozaliev told a briefing today.
"The city becomes more and more active, citizens breach quarantine requirements more and more often. They go outside without essential reasons, ride cars for private matters," the commandant said.
Some citizens provide taxi services as if they work for taxi firms and do not observe sanitary requirements - they transport more than 2 passengers for one time, which increases risk of coronavirus infection spread, he said.
"All must observe sanitary and epidemiological requirements. Especially taxi drivers and hair dressers should wear masks, since they contact many people when they work," the commandant said.
Violation of sanitary norms and quarantine requirements will lead to legal consequences, he warned.
Some businesses reopened since May 1 in Bishkek.
