Schools in Tajikistan not to have remote learning, break extended until Aug 16

AKIPRESS.COM - The school break has been extended until August 16 in accordance with the decision of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus fight, Asia-Plus reported with reference to the Ministry of Education and Science.
Schools will reopen in all regions of the country on August 17. Students will be transfered from one grade to another on the basis of their academic performance since September until April 2020.
The final examinations for grades 9 and 11 will be held from June 15-24.
The break was announced at schools, kindergartens, colleges of Tajikistan since April 27 until May 10 earlier.
The Ministry of Education and Science said in case of declaration of the quarantine, schools in Tajikistan will switch to remote learning of TV-based schooling. The remote learning center was set up at the Ministry and all programs were ready for broadcasting.
