Damage from mudflows in Leilek district estimated at 55 million soms

AKIPRESS.COM - The damage caused by mudflows in Leilek district of Batken region of May 2 is estimated at 55.296 million soms, Batken region administration said.
The mudflows were caused by heavy rain.
The civil defense service cleared the roads from mud and stones on May 3.
Water and electricity supply was restored in Isfana town.
Mudflows struck Leilek district on May 5 repeatedly.
Irrigation networks are filled with mud and gravel. The agricultural fields were damaged.
The relief operation is ongoing. The damage is being estimated.
