COVID-19 outbreak in Chatkal district occurs at a funeral

AKIPRESS.COM - The epidemiological situation escalates in Chatkal district due to increase in coronavirus infection cases, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said on May 7.
16 cases of infection were recorded in Chatkal district as of May 7, including 13 cases occurred at the funeral.
"There was a funeral, which was attended by citizens from Bishkek, among them were patients with coronavirus. Therefore, the infection has spread," said Usenbayev.
Usenbayev noted that all contact persons were taken under control and are under medical supervision.
