Citizens shoud not be demanded to present medical certificate for COVID-19 test - government

AKIPRESS.COM - The recent decisions arbitrarily made by region administration without approval of the central government caused public outcry, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus fight today.
The local administrations should not take actions contrary to the decision of the government, nation-wide operative team and should be careful in their statements, Boronov said.
"Citizens should not be demanded to present a medical certificate for coronavirus test at entry ports to the region, town, district or village, except for cases approved by the Ministry of Health. Local administrations should implement the resolutions of the nation-wide operative team in full and follow recommendations of the line services," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
The medical certificate proving negative test results for COVID-19 was earlier required at the entry point to Issyk-Kul region. The Issyk-Kul region governor was rebuke for such requirement.
