Kyrgyz government approves size of compensations to coronavirus infected health workers

AKIPRESS.COM - The government of Kyrgyzstan has approved size of compensations to coronavirus infected health workers by the decree signed by Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev on May 6.
50 million soms were allocated for these purposes from the state budget, the government reports.
Reportedly, medical workers will be paid 200,000 soms compensation in case they contract coronavirus infection during work.
In case a medical worker dies from coronavirus, a family will be paid 1 million soms compensation.
On May 7, the Deputy Health Mnister Nurbolot Usenbayev reported that a commission on payment of compensation to health workers set up in Kyrgyzstan.
