Bishkek hosts requiem-meeting on occasion of 54th anniversary of Victory in WW2

AKIPRESS.COM - A requiem-meeting dedicated to 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at the Victory square in Bishkek on May 9.
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and paid tribute to those who died in World War II with minute of silence.
The event was attended by the Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Jumabekov, Prime Minister Muhamedkaly Abilgaziev, Chairman of the Supreme Court Gulbara Kaliyeva, ex-President Roza Otunbayeva, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Raimberdi Duishenbiyev.
