World War II veterans get 75,000 soms for Victory Day - Labor Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The Labor Minister Ulukbek Kochkorov congratulated veterans in Bishkek on occasion of 75th anniversary of Vicrtory in Great Patriotic War on May 9, the ministry reports.
The Minister thanked the veterans and wished them good health, prosperity and long life.
According to the Labor Ministry, 251 veterans live in Kyrgyzstan.
Each veteran will receive the one-time financial assistance worth 75,000 som.
Additionally, the WW2 veterans receive 7,000 som monthly as state aid and life-long presidential aid amounting to 10,000 som per month (since January 2020).
