Scars on face of nurse on frontline of COVID-19 fight in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - On the International Nurses Day marked on May 12, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan published the photo of the nurse working at the hospital for COVID-19 patients. "Fatima Husanova is nurse of the clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The experienced nurse with many years of work in the clinic behind, Fatima has made a big contribution into treatment and recovery of 43 coronavirus patients during the last month. The scars on the face of Fatima is the result of her hard work in the protective equipment day and night risking her life and health," the Ministry of Health said.
"I am proud of having chosen such noble profession. With my colleagues we have cured dozens of patients with coronavirus for a short period of time, making them and their families happy," Fatima Husanova said.
More than 50,000 nurses are involved into treatment of patients with COVID-19 across Uzbekistan.
