Kyrgyz citizen to get new house instead of burnt one in Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict

AKIPRESS.COM - A part of the house of the citizen of Kyrgyzstan was burnt as a result of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict on May 8, MP Janar Akaev said in Parliament today.
"The fund-raising campaign was launched on social media for construction of a new house," the MP said and asked the Ministry of Emergency Situations whether it is possible to finance construction of the house from the public budget.
After introduction of the mandatory social insurance since January 2017, the Ministry of Emergency Situations stoppped construction of houses, Deputy Minister Kalys Ahmatov said.
"I think we will build a new house from public funds. I believe we can build the house on the basis of a contract," Deputy Minister Ahmatov suggested.
Three border guards of Kyrgyzstan were wounded in the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict on May 8. One of them is in serious condition, being partially paralyzed.
A part of the house of the Kyrgyz citizen was burnt as a result of the conflict.
