Total of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan rises to 2,620

AKIPRESS.COM - Eight new COVID-19 cases were confirmed by 10.00 am on May 14 in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health said.
That brought the total number of confirmed cases to 2,620.
Four cases were imported. These were truck drivers arriving from abroad. Four more cases were confirmed among citizens quarantined at medical facilities.
2,076 patients recovered up to date. The coronavirus recovery rate makes 79%.
533 patients still remain in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition.
