Kara-Kochkor village in Osh closed for quarantine as villagers contract Covid-19

AKIPRESS.COM - The quarantine was introduced in the kara-Kochkor village of Kara-Kuldja district, said Osh government.
The checkpoints were set up, entry and exit from the village is restricted. These measures were taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus as two residents of village were tested positive for coronavirus. 60 people were placed in observation point in the district.
According to Health Ministry, 1 case of Covid-19 was confirmed in Kara-Kuldja district as of May 20 morning.
The villagers brought the body of a deceased resident who died due to heart disease. "The citizens allegedly got infected when they transported the body to Kyrgyzstan," the Osh government said.
