Quarantine extended until June 8 in Shymkent

AKIPRESS.COM - The chief sanitary inspector of Shymkent has extended quarantine until 7.00 am of June 8 amid the growth of COVID-19 cases during the last week.
Citizens are recommended to wear face masks, not gather in groups of more than 2 people, not hold family events.
Reopened businesses are required to comply with all sanitary protocols.
Between May 17 and 24, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases grew from 404 to 606. 6 people died. 220 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery.
The population of Shymkent exceeds 1.05 million.
