Health Ministry preparing for second wave of coronavirus epidemic

AKIPRESS.COM - Health Ministry has begun preparations for a possible second wave of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, said the chief of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention Kasymbek Mambetov on air of Birinchi Radio on May 28.
According to him, probably, there will be a second peak of the first wave.
Mambetov said that that infectious diseases remain regardless of whether there will be a second wave or not.
"We must reconstruct infectious diseases hospitals, expand virological laboratories, replenish personal protective equipment and test systems, strengthen the training of health workers and increase the sanitary literacy of the population," he added.
