Rally in protest against ex-President Atambayev held outside court building in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - A rally in protest against ex-President Almazbek Atambayev is held today outside the Pervomaiskiy district court building. Around 20 people demand that Atambayev should be held accountable and imprisoned.
Around 50 supporters of former President Atambayev gathered as well, sons of ex-President Atambayev Seit and Kadyr among them.
Police separate the opposing groups.
Ex-President Atambayev is supposed to stand before trial on the August 2019 events in Koi-Tash village.
