Public transport checks in Bishkek find drivers and passengers don't wear face masks

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek public transport is checked by transport and sanitary inspectors in terms of compliance with sanitary protocols on a daily basis. 88 public transport means were checked for the morning of June 2. Five of them were found violating sanitary protocol: drivers and passengers did not have face masks, social distance was not kept, there was no sanitizer and it was dirty inside.
Drivers were fined for 1,000 soms (around $13).
The mayor's press office reminded passengers and drivers should wear masks and gloves and sanitize their hands while using public transport.
