AKIPRESS.COM - The bus service between the regions of Kyrgyzstan will relaunched since June 5. This information came from the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus fight. First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said the line government agencies and local authorities should be ready for checks of compliance with sanitary protocol.
"Compliance with sanitary safety requirements by public transport and passengers should be strictly controlled. Passengers should wear masks and their temperature should be measured before travel. Travel by buses and minibuses should be safe. We must be confident that all sanitary norms are met during travel," Boronov said and gave respective tasks to the Ministry of Transport and Roads.
Bishkek remains the epicenter of the infection with high transmission risks. Travel to the capital city without serious reasons is not recommended, Boronov said.
It was noted at the meeting that markets, shopping centers, stores, cafes and public transport in Bishkek do not meet sanitary requirements.
Issyk-Kul region governor Akylbek Osmonaliev said the region is preparing for the tourist season. The vacation hotels and guest houses are required to comply with sanitary protocol and are informed that compliance with the requirements will be strictly controlled.
Summer camps will reopen since June 25 in the region.
