Speaker Jumabekov asks his colleagues to wear masks in Parliament, reminds about sanctions

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament Speaker Dastan Jumabekov has asked MPs to wear medical masks at the plenary session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on June 4. According to the Health Ministry's recommendations, citizens have to wear masks in public places.
Some MPs did not wear masks during meeting. The Speaker reminded them they can be fined.
"Dear MPs, I kindly ask you to wear masks, this is a public place. The Ministry of Health is controlling the situation. There is law, you can be fined because of mask's absence. We should be example for others, now we have many questions about that, including those from journalists," the Speaker said.
