Street where Chinese Embassy in Bishkek located named after Manas epic teller

AKIPRESS.COM - The street in Bishkek was named after Manas epic teller Jusup Mamai, Government's Reprsentative in Parliament Almasbek Abytov said during meeting of Respublika - Ata Jurt parliamentary faction. He said that after MP Adyl Junus uulu reminded tha Kyrgyzstan celebrated the 100th anniversary of Jusup Mamai in 2018, his statue was erected at the alley of epic tellers near the Philharmonic Hall and asked the government's representative when the street after the epic teller would be named.
Abytov said that Bishkek mayor's office following the decision of the Bishkek local council named the street where China's Embassy is located after Jusup Mamai.
"The official ceremony has not taken place yet. We need to make signs, numeration. After that we will organize the opening ceremony," said Abytov.
