AKIPRESS.COM - The Democratic Party and the Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan recognized as extremist organization are holding protests today in Nur-Sultan and Almaty, vlast.kz reported.
Around 20-30 people at the Independence Square in Nur-Sultan were detained. Around 20-30 were detained in Almaty.
Almaty vice mayor Yerzhan Babakumarov asked the protesters to disperse. He said the rally is unlawful, since the organizers did not notify the authorities and did not receive a permission.
The protesters demand credit amnesty, re-nationalization of land and entities.
