Polish doctors arrive in Dushanbe to aid Tajikistan's fight against COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - 16 Polish doctors arrived in Dushanbe on June 6 to help Tajik health workers in COVID-19 fight, Asia-Plus reported.
Polish doctors will visit Tajikistan's regions to share with local doctors their experience in treatment of patients from coronavirus, reports the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
First Deputy Minister of Health Saida Umarzoda welcomed the experts from Poland upon arrival at Dushanbe international airport.
Three experts from WHO escort Polish medical professionals. They intend to stay in Tajikistan for one month.
In future experts from Russia's Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing will also arrive in Tajikistan to work with WHO team.
The group will assist Tajik doctors in laboratory diagnostics, epidemiological surveillance, scientific research on COVID-19.
