AKIPRESS.COM - Air travel between Kazakhstan and Turkey is planned to be restarted at the end of June, states Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development Beybut Atakulov.
"We are planning gradual resumption of international flights. At the end of June, we're planning to restart air travel between Kazakhstan and Turkey. In future, with improvement of epidemiological situation we will restart international flights to other countries," Atamkulov said.
Domestic flights in Kazakhstan have been gradually resumed since May 1. Flights now are operated on 44 routes with frequency of 340 flights per week. 188,000 tickets have been sold alreadu.
At the end of May it was reported that Kazakhstan is reviewing possibility to restart flights to China, South Korea and Azerbaijan during the first stage, toTurkey, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Thailand and Czech Republic during the second stage, informburo.kz reported.
