7 electric cars imported to Kyrgyzstan in 5 months of 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - 6 electric cars were imported into Kyrgyzstan in 2018, 69 in 2019 and 7 in January-May 2020, Deputy Head of the State Customs Service Elnura Mambetjunusheva said at the parliament session June 10. No conditions have been created for them today in Kyrgyzstan, Economy Deputy Minister Bekbolot Aliyev said.
But the draft amendments to to the Tax Code, the Law on Advertising has been developed to create the condition for importing electric cars to Kyrgyzstan, Aliyev said.
The draft amendments also propose to exempt imported electric cars and equipment from customs duties and VAT. Owners of electric cars will also be exempt from property tax, he added.
