Public debt of Kazakhstan on safe level - Accounts Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - The public debt is on a safe level, Accounts Committee Chairperson Natalia Godunova said at the plenary session of the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan, zakon.kz reported. The expenditures for public debt servicing are growing, she said.
The public debt is within safe limits, Finance Minister Yerulan Jamaubaev said. He has not elaborated on the size of the debt.
"The public debt level of Kazakhstan is safe. The budget deficit reached 1.3 trillion tenge or 1.9% of GDP," he added.
