AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed his attendance at the parade in Moscow on June 24, Russian media cited President Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov as saying.
The leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Serbia, Croatia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia confirmed their attendance as well.
"A number of leaders were invited and we expect confirmation of their attendance in the next few days," the press secretary said.
President Putin at the meeting with the Russian Defense Minister on May 26 said the victory parade will be held on June 24, the day when the parade was held in 1945.
