Tajikistan reports 73 new COVID-19 cases, 4,763 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajikistan has confirmed 73 new COVID-19 cases by the evening of June 10.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 4,763.
2,947 patients with COVID-19 recovered. 48 patients died.
Markets, shopping centers, hotels, public catering facilities, beauty salons, spa centers are expected to be reopened since June 15.
The lower chamber of the Parliament of Tajikistan passed the amendments to the Administrative Liability and Criminal Codes yesterday that foresee 2-5 year prison term for deliberate transmission of communicable disease and up to 10 years in prison for grave consequences of such act. Failure to wear masks in public places and keep social distance will be fined. Spread of false information about pandemic will be fined as well.
