AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Uzbekistan returned to South Korea for work by the chartered flight, reports Daryo news agency. 31 Uzbek citizens who earlier arrived from South Korea to Uzbekistan for vacations could not fly there to work due to the pandemic and cancelled flights between the countries.
The Agency of External Migration of Uzbekistan and Human Resources Development Service of Korea reached agreement on transportation of 31 Uzbek citizens to work in Korea by the chartered flight.
Uzbek citizens need to sign agreement on 14-day quarantine after arrival in Korea or be tested for COVID-19 in Uzbekistan (employer-sponsored).
Around 52,000 Uzbek citizens were sent to work in South Korea earlier. More than 14,000 work temporarily in the country.
