Issyk-Kul region has 492 recreation facilities

AKIPRESS.COM - There are 492 recreation facilities in the Issyk-Kul region, said deputy governor of Issyk-Kul region Elmira Usenova on 11 June. 127 resorts, 7 sanatoriums, 119 hotels, 192 guest houses, 19 children's camps, 12 recreation centers, 13 hostels and 3 rehabilitation centers are located in the Issyk-Kul region
The number of yurts available for ecotourism is being clarified, she said.
An action plan for operation of these facilities under the coronavirus epidemic has been developed, she said.
Mobile groups have been set up to raise awareness of employees of rest places about the importance of following the sanitary rules, she explained.
"If tourist places do not observe sanitary and epidemiological rules, we will have to fine and suspend their activities," she concluded.
