Jalal-Abad and Osh regions have biggest number of children living in poverty in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - 660,800 children under 17 years lived in poverty in Kyrgyzstan in 2019.
The biggest number of children living in poverty are observed in Jalal-Abad and Osh regions, the National Statistical Committee said.
Thus, 160,945 lived in poverty in Jalal-Abad region, 105,273 children in Osh region, 89,476 children in Batken region, 88,642 children in Chui region, 61,647 children in Issyk-Kul region, 44,627 children in Naryn region, 20,713 children in Talas region.
58,336 children lived in poverty in Bishkek and 31,129 children lived in poverty in Osh.
