AKIPRESS.COM - The action in protest against domestic violence was held outside the Parliament building today in Bishkek. Around 10 young people participated in the action.
The protesters held posters in their hands calling for fight against domestic violence, corruption.
The arrived police forces argued with protesters, tore their posters and pushed them aside.
One of the activists said they decided to stage protest after detention of human rights defender Kamil Ruziev, torture of the woman in Suzak district by her husband, detention of the participants of the march for women's rights, unfair court decision acquitting the rapist of the 13-year-old girl.
"We came for protest so that human rights are not violated, the reforms are carried out, lawlessness by police is stopped," the activist said.
