Damage caused by mudflows in Jety-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region estimated at near $27,000

AKIPRESS.COM - The mudflows hitting Barskoon village, Jety-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region caused the damage estimated at 2 million soms (around $26,600), rural municipality governor Janybek Usenbayev said.
The emergency workers are clearing the area for construction of debris flows drainage canal.
The costs are estimated for construction of the suspension bridge.
The canal and basements of houses were flooded. Some local roads were damaged.
"The roads are 50% restored. All local roads will be cleared and repaired soon," the governor said.
