AKIPRESS.COM - 500 kindergartens will be opened in Kyrgyzstan from 2021 to 2025, Education Ministry reports.
The opening of kindergartens will provide access to preschool education for 40,000 children.
The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan in three readings approved the bill on ratification of the agreement with the International Development Association on the Learning for the Future Project.
In addition, 36,000 teachers will be trained for participation in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) in order to increase the effectiveness of children's education.
The project also supports educators through professional development activities to improve knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of training and mentoring.
1,500 kindergarten teachers will pass advanced training.
