AKIPRESS.COM - Some 3,348 COVID-19 cases were registered in Nur-Sultan so far, Public Health Department Chief Saule Kisikova told a briefing, Kazinform reports.
587 COVID-19 cases were registered for a week, she said.
"This is for 21% more than in the previous week. The daily growth made 3%. Some 2,610 patients remain in hospitals. Compared to the previous week, the number of cases tripled," Saule Kisikova said.
92% of patients in hosptials have pneumonia complicated by coronavirus infection.
"129 patients are in serious condition, 50 patients are hooked up to ventilators," Kisikova stated.
The number of beds for COVID-19 patients was increased for 800 beds in Nur-Sultan for the past week.
