Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan hold poltical and economic consultations

AKIPRESS.COM - The Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan held virtual political and economic consultations at the level of the Deputy Foreign and Foreign Trade Ministers on June 23, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said. The sides underlined importance of intergovernmental commission for commercial, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation for expansion of bilateral ties and range of supplied services and goods.
The agreement was reached on broadening of cooperation in transport, transit and hydropower.
Prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in political and humanitarian areas were considered among other aspects.
