Ambulance service calls grow to 22,000 a day in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Nur-Sultan ambulance station director Murat Orazbaev reported about the grown number of 103 ambulance service calls.
"Since June, the number of calls in Nur-Sultan grew 4 times and makes around 4,000 calls a day. More than 118 ambulance teams respond to calls. The contact center was launched to respond to calls of people regarding COVID-19," the station director said.
Ambulance service calls across Kazakhstan grew for 10%, Bauyrzhan Jusipov, acting chairman of the board of the national emergency medicine coordination center, said.
"We responded to 18,000 calls across the country a day in average before. Now we have around 22,000 calls a day. I would like to ask people not to panic, since ambulance service will respond to calls in accordance with approved COVID-19 protocols," Jusipov said.
