Mother of ex-President Otunbayeva dies at age of 95

AKIPRESS.COM - Mother of ex-President Roza Otunbayeva Saliyka Daniyarova died at age of 95.
She was born on 1 January 1925. After graduation from pedagogical college, she worked as primary school teacher at a school in Naryn for almost 10 years.
After the family moved to Osh, she worked at a boarding school there. In 1964, she entered the biology department of the Osh Pedagogical Institute.
After her husband was promoted and got a post in the capital, she joined the sport boarding school No. 1 and worked there until retirement in 1975.
She was mother of 8 children, 7 daughters and a son.
The funeral are set for June 30.
