Parks and boulevards in Bishkek closed to public amid spike in coronavirus cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Public spaces, parks and boulevards are closed to public in Bishkek until improvement of COVID-19 situation, the mayor's press office said.
"The epidemiological situation in the city is very tensed and we have to take such extreme measures to stop spread of COVID-19," the press office stated.
Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov said earlier that access to parks, boulevards and squares in Bishkek will be restricted.
New work regime was endorced by the Bishkek authorities earlier, when several businesses were closed and activities were prohibited amid resurgence in COVID-19 cases.
