Over 700 hospital beds more for patients with COVID-19 to be prepared by tonight in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 700 additional hospital beds will be prepared by tonight. This informatin came from the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment held by Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov today.
Dormitories of some universities will be used as hospitals. The new facilities will be provided with medical personnel, equipment and medicines.
"It is clear that these dormitories do not have such conditions like the former Ganci air base. The main thing now, however, is to accommodate patients and start their treatment. Citizens share videos, showing people lying on benches or in cars. We should not allow that. This is why we need to arrange 500 new hospital beds a day," the Prime Minister said.
