AKIPRESS.COM - The epidemiological situation began to worsen after resumption of economic acitivities, Bishkek Mayor Aziz Surakmatov said at the briefing on July 8. According to him, the number of coronavirus patients is growing in Bishkek and amounted to 3,617 people or 42% of all infected in the country.
The situation in residential areas, where the number of patients with coronavirus was 680 is worsening, he added.
"We have gone through several stages of introducing restrictions over the past months of the fight against coronavirus. It was important for us to maintain the economy and reduce unemployment in Bishkek. Protect our businessmen and entrepreneurs from serious financial problems," he said.
